That's right....We are truly honored to have Mr. Jeff Tweedy of Wilco and friend of Nick Offerman joining Ilinois Libraries Present's virtual event on Wednesday, April 27.

Join us for an evening with actor, humorist and woodworker Nick Offerman, in conversation with musician and walking companion Jeff Tweedy.

Best known for his breakout role as Ron Swanson in the acclaimed television series Parks and Recreation, actor and New York Times bestselling author Nick Offerman will be discussing his newest book, "Where the Deer and the Antelope Play: The Pastoral Observations of One Ignorant American Who Loves to Walk Outside." Offerman was born in Joliet and raised in nearby Minooka, IL.

As the founding member and leader of the Grammy Award-winning American rock band Wilco, and before that the co-founder of the alt-country band Uncle Tupelo, Jeff Tweedy is one of contemporary music's most accomplished songwriters, musicians and performers. Jeff is also the author of two New York Times bestsellers. He lives in Chicago with his family.
